Hay belleza

Belleza en todo…

 

La veo en las flores

En los niños crecidos

La huelo en la comida de mi abuela

Y los colores brillan, presentes en la gente, tienen

Arte, Historia, Naturaleza: oceano, montañas, y plantas

 

Oigo música de memorias

Veo pequeños preciosos

Banderas de celeste y rojo

Cruces albas y palabras sabias

Voces en canción y riza, cuerpos en ritmo

 

Amor hoy y mañana

Familia, amigos, veamos lo que no siempre se aprecia,

para esto estamos, con corazones alegres, libremente apasionados

 

Beautiful Motherland

There is beauty

Beauty in everything…

Her flowers full blown

In children full grown

The smell of food in her home with

Colors in every tone:

Everywhere, even through the phone

Nature, Art, History:

ocean, mountains, and trees

 

Music bringing memories and joy

Meeting pretty girls and boys

We see flags of blue and crimson

Cross of ivory and words of wisdom

Rhythm in strides, voices in song, laughter

Love today and after

Friends and family,

Let’s discern what you and I don’t always choose to perceive,

This is why we are here, and our hearts are happy, bonding freely

2/21/17~ Last tuesday was Valentines day, I’m sure you knew that. Do you know how great Gods love for you is? He created the earth for us to dwell/ thrive in and didn’t expect anything in return because he allows us to make our own decisions. He knows what’s best for us and reveals the truth yet loves us unconditionally. This is love: “My dear, dear friends, if God loved us like this, we certainly ought to love each other. No one has seen God, ever. But if we love one another, God dwells deeply within us, and his love becomes complete in us-perfect love!” -1 John 4:11 MSG

Lord, i love you

as long as the earth spins

although Your children sin

while You mold me from within

i will love them

as i gaze at Your work of light

the world turns from the sun, night

i hold onto Your promises,

I am sprung

my soul rises to meet with You, Your son

even if days are dark, lonely, and hard

when i’m misguided by a heart and fall a part

You still love me.

Your blessings are so freeing

i praise You with my being,

Yahweh’s face we’ll soon be seeing.

it doesn’t take me long

to write Yah a love song

the Weh’s love, it’s so strong

in Him there is no wrong.

i am nothing,

without You

i have nothing,

but good to speak of You

because, amazingly enough

You loved me first

You love me true.

Longing to try on many of things new

i have stumbled over my choices of shoes

Not just the high heels, the flats limit me too

When i move too fast to refrain or retain certain beauty from the Blues

that told me to grasp, enjoy great views.

 

i then rose rapidly above the trees

Feet over the world, only to float down again, sinking them deeper into the ground, my friend

Once more and suddenly, I could express it all through poetry

When I wressle with every part that matters and the miniscules making up this galaxy

We: the parts within and without

resolve to balance, oppose the extremes
